Scott McCloud Corrupts Vietnamese Teens?

Understanding Comics

According to VietNamNet Bridge, not only are Vietnamese teens too stupid “to distinguish between the good and the bad in foreign comics,” but Scott McCloud insists on corrupting said teens with Understanding Comics — a book “filled with violence, [sic] and sexual images.”

First Google Chrome, and now this?

In related news, The Comics Reporter features a wonderful interview with McCloud about the new Zot! collection. You can see my favorite Zot! moment here. As far as I know it’s the world’s tallest comic panel, and it’s followed by a great reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey.

BTW, “The Parallelogram’s Revenge” is about as sexually explicit as McCloud gets.
